Re: Solution found! - Reliable realtime BPM analyzing

Just want to say THANK YOU, cosmowe!!! This tip is freaking awesome and solves not just a Resolume need for me but also provides a great way for me to sync up my lighting rig (via Enttec EMU).

It's working really great and I agree with you, it has some of the most accurate beat detection I've seen!

Next/Prev Layer Select for MIDI map?

I would love to use the up/down arrows on the apc40mk2 to select the next or prev layer. Is there any way to map this natively in Resolume? I could do it with Bome but right now I have no other need for Bome on this machine and would prefer to keep as few links in the chain as possible. Thanks in ad...

Help finding specific bit of footage

I thought I would be able to let this go, but I have now been searching on and off for a few days and can't seem to find this footage. It's the clip(s) feature here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ciZYI9yK_Jk I could maybe assume he's using some custom content but in a similar video he is clearly u...

Re: Is RAID 0 or 1 worth it with SSDs?

Thanks, gents! This was my suspicion and I appreciate the words of wisdom from those more experienced with the needs of Resolume.

Regarding my backup strategy, Zoltán, I use the classic 3-2-1 approach and am very well covered =) Completely agree with you that RAID is not backup.

Is RAID 0 or 1 worth it with SSDs?

I am not concerned about data loss, just wondering if there are any Resolume specific benefits (or cons) to running a pair of SSDs in RAID 0 or 1 instead of a single SSD. In this case it would be software RAID via Win10. On the topic of storage, is read speed all that matters during a Resolume perfo...

Re: MIDI Clock Jumping to 20 or 500 BPM

Nothing goes wrong, Traktor and Resolume link just fine. The issue is with the Traktor implementation of Link - it requires you to sync your track decks with the master tempo clock. This means that in order to shift the tempo up or down I wouldn't be able to use pitch faders on each deck, I would ha...

Re: MIDI Clock Jumping to 20 or 500 BPM

Thanks for the reply, Zoltán! Sounds like this may be more of an inherent issue with MIDI clock or the specific MIDI clock sync implementation in Resolume, not some quirky bug or a setting I can adjust. Given your feedback, I may try to run some lightweight/free app (Ableton Lite?) that supports Lin...

MIDI Clock Jumping to 20 or 500 BPM

I've got Traktor outputting MIDI Clock to Bome Network which is then piping that to Resolume. Immediately after the clock signal is sent, the BPM in Resolume closely matches the BPM in Traktor (with the expected MIDI fluctuation), but after about 10 seconds the Resolume BPM will snap to either 20 or...
