I'm also having issues with mpeg streamclip Version 1.9.3b8 (1.9.3b8) on my new mac,
My new macbook came with Yosemite and now when I open mpeg stream clip the playback is distorted.

Thanks so much for your help and info, totally understand what you are saying, and that is what I have done so far, however the three areas of projection are not side by side, rather in three different areas of the room, so what i wanted to do was to have one layer of images triggered in one cornor ...

thanks so much for your help, but Im working off a mac book pro and cant seem to do that,
At the moment I have reduced the size of the 3 layers to fit all within frame of the output, which I can then trigger, but the problem is that they are all in the same frame/ out put across the three spaces, so ...
