I use ffmpeg, a command-line app. It's used in many other open source apps. You can download the compiled Windows version here:

In general laptops can handle only 2 screens. The first is for the internal LCD-Panel and the other for the VGA-output AND video-output. It's not possible to have different outputs between VGA and video ...
