Re: Gofunco Prophecy 4K 2x2 Video Wall Processor

Correct but you will also need a Sync II card and the outputs will need to be the same resolution and refresh rate. (2) A5000's will run about $4,000 and then you need the sync card for about $2,000 in addition. You can find FX4's on Ebay for around $2,000 as well.

Re: Gofunco Prophecy 4K 2x2 Video Wall Processor

A5000 should be fine since you're just needing (5) 3G signals. The issue with Gaming GPU's are that each output port has it's own clock. think of it as garbage in, garbage out. There's no external hardware like a sync generator that can fix the output coming out of a gaming GPU, so external converte...

Re: Gofunco Prophecy 4K 2x2 Video Wall Processor

That 5th output is the issue. Cheapest solution I've used would be to have a Quadro card and a FX4 or AJA HA5-4K. Grab the SDI FX4 if your PJ's have 3G SDI inputs. You'll need to add delay to the single output that isn't going to the splitterbox worst case, best case you don't need to. If you can gr...

Re: AMD Vs Intel proccesors

Shouldn't matter, it's all about the PCIe Lanes and single core clock speed. Get what ever fits your budget and makes sense for the build. I've had good luck with both.

Re: Gofunco Prophecy 4K 2x2 Video Wall Processor

What does your output setup (end point devices) look like? Could you draw a small diagram in paint? Thanks

Are you wanting to change columns or decks? Either of which have a < and > you can map to the controller.

Re: Running hot on idle

When running, could you open the task manager and snag a few photos of the applications running sorted by Memory, another one sorted by CPU and another one sorted by GPU, then go to the performance tab and snag the same 3 photos on each of the 3 different parts of the machine? Thanks :)

Re: Running hot on idle

That seems abnormal. Can you click on "Show Display Info" under the output contextual menu at the top and let us know what GPU is rendering Resolume?

Unfortunately not at this moment, but it is on the roadmap.
This has been my +1 request for a while now. :)
