Re: Resolume Arena 5 Point Ooooh

So amazing Resolume team. Killer update. Since it isn't mentioned I presume Windows version is still not 64 bit? Would love to not have to walk on egg shells with the application memory limits of 32bit. Or is the mentioned "larger address / memory management" feature going to help with tha...

Windows 10 initial consensus?

Is there any initial consensus on Arena stability in Windows 10? I am still running 7 for stability purposes but would like to move away from a 6 year old OS and obviously want to skip 8. General thoughts? Known issues?

Re: no transparency in DXV

thanks for all the replies peeps... (I missed them at first) I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling DVX 3.0 and that seemed to clean it up. BTW FCPX can export to any format that Compressor does, you just add the Share setting from your Compressor settings library. Thanks as always to the Resolume...

Re: no transparency in DXV

FYI... The DXV installer only installs DXV 3 now too. so DXV2 is gone since I deleted it (don't use it anyway)

Re: no transparency in DXV

Re: no transparency in DXV

Thanks for the info! that Quicktime folder does not exist or at least I can't find it. There is no Quicktime components folder in Library... the DXV application support seems to be in: /application support/DXV Is this perhaps new folder system for DXV 3? I have Quicktime and FCPx installed and it se...

no transparency in DXV

I have suddenly lost the ability to export DXV with alpha... tried DXV2 with Alpha Preserved and DXV 3 Normal with Alpha and DXV High with Alpha. I have tried FCPS, Motion, AE. Nothing changed on the system (as far as I know) Running Macbook Pro Retina / Yosemite Anyone else having issues with DXV a...

Re: "Main" video card vs 2nd video card and SLI?

Thanks Joris! That is super helpful. I consider myself an advanced Resolume user, but did not know that. The UI seems so innocent and light, who knew it was the full beast. :-) Truth be told, the Titan X 12gb will be more than I need for most setups... just thinking ahead to that inevitable time tha...

Re: "Main" video card vs 2nd video card and SLI?

Thanks! I definitely recommend the Datapath X4's, love mine. Worth the extra money over buggy Matrox GXM's

Luckily the UI would be a tiny spec of sand processing-wise on a Titan X. Just got to add a couple more X4's to the mix I guess. :-)

Re: "Main" video card vs 2nd video card and SLI?

good to know... I have never had a Resolume crash on Mac, EVER except that odd "clean aperture DXV file" glitch in 4.1.9 that was immediately fixed. ...so definitely not thrilled about adding PC to the mix but I need a little power box for some 4K projects and a projects with 10 to 12 outp...
