I know a few years back with BMD cards it was like driver roulette. After about 7-12 revision installs I finally got a version to work. Might be outdated or too new of drivers?

I can't confirm that those devices will help once the machine is rebooted, BUT, if your end point devices are powered down and that un-link's the display in your OS, the HD Fury devices can prevent that from happening.
