Yup! I've been using Sublime, and as Edwin said, Wire monitors the files and updates on changes :)

hey - i'm just getting into wire. I looked around on the forum and couldn't find it - but are people sharing patches with each other? Where's that go down?

A lot of the Wire people are in our Slack community. You can share patches there, but you're also free to do so over here, of course. :)

Thanks for this excellent software!

I hope it will support in the future:
GTLF files exported from Blender
websocket protocol to be able to control the FloatIns from a web page

Opening up patch example to learn the specifics of a node is tedious. Is there a manual out documenting all the different nodes like a wiki page?

I think Wire is great.
Currently, I am trying and erroring patches.
When wiring, it's easy to lose track of what I was doing.
I am Japanese.
I want to enter Japanese in UI-> comment.
When I look at the saved .wire file, the Japanese comment remains, but it does not appear on the patch edit screen.
I hope UI-> comments will be multibyte compatible.

I thought the same way.
So I extracted and summarized the comment text of the node patch example.

https://infostyle.jp/wire/unofficial-document.html

I wanted a Japanese version of the document, so the automatic translation version is the default.
However, switching between EN / JP will also switch to the original text.
In addition, you can search by node name.
I hope it helps.

There is no wiki as there are simply too many nodes and changes to keep that up to date.

The Training Video's take you through the most commonly used nodes: https://resolume.com/training/wire

After that there are articles on subjects such as oscillators, shapes, randomness, logic, math etc.. These articles explain the use of nearly all the nodes in those catagories: https://resolume.com/support?wire

let me know if you are missing any subject in general and I'll see what I can do to add it.
