I have a show this weekend, I think I might give this a real-world test, with an Arena5 running alongside just in case. it is a beta software after all. ill report back with how it went.

I'm digging all the new features and so far im liking it. super excited to get NDI working!

Can't try it, but What's New shows me a lot of things that we claim over years.
Even if is not ready for release, this is the biggest announce since a long time.
Just Love it!

Is there already a manual that explains the new features? "Application - view manual" does nothing.
I'm new to Resolume, so the "current version" manual https://resolume.com/manual/en/r5/start will lead me a long way. But the people that test the new features will certainly have an easier life testing when they know how the features where meant to work... ;-)

I'm sorry, but I don't see a manual for Resolume 6 there, or any reference to the new features.

There is no manual as of yet BUT if you scroll below the FAQ section you will find a bunch of very detailed "how-to" guides organized under the following headers:
  • * Installing & Registering
    * Workflow
    * Content
    * Transform, Masks & Effects
    * Output
    * Controlling Resolume
    * Best Practices
    * Nerds
    * First Aid (not available yet!)
Do you feel the love yet! <3

Hey guys,
this new release looks great! and finally covers a number of important areas, sweet.
Fantastic news are: HiDPI support (finally!), mask layers, thumbnail updates, midi-assignale horizontal scrollbar (ha!), text generators, solid color source's colour shown, color picker, over-all speed improvements, brand new shortcut management, view-switches for many functionalities ...
And pretty nice to see that many things discussed in the forums (sometimes long while ago) haven't been forgotten.
Great work!!

Indeed there are alse a few things dearly missed. I will start separate topics for.

Hello,
as my first post I have to say you make wonderful software and the Beta is fantastic.

My first official question would be where would you like Beta 6 Avenue bugs reported?

I see some noted here, but mostly the good things, I don't see anything yet in the bug area of these forums.

Would you prefer email contact? Bugzilla? Telepathy? :)

FYI I'm on Win7 64 bit.

Again thanks for making such creative, intuitive tools.
Dirk

Hello, and welcome!
You can report bugs, in the Problems? Bugs? Solutions! section of the forum by creating a new topic.
Please do a search before posting a bug, maybe someone already reported the bug you experience, in that case feel free to join in on the conversation on that topic.
