External laptop as a source

Post by DADUSH »

Does someone know how to stream in Resolume an external laptop ?
I have plug the HDMI video output of my laptop to the Resolume computer through an Black Magic Intensity Shuttle but no image is detected. If I plug a camera instead the laptop the camera image appears among the Resolume sources.
Thanks for your help !

NDI would be a nice way.
NDI Scan converter can grab any display's output, and make it available to machines on the same network.

The Intensity, can't do anything over 1080i60, which is interlaced.
You can send 1080p60 to it from your computer, which is a pretty generic format, but it won't be able to handle it.
Software developer, Sound Engineer,
Control Your show with ”Enter” - multiple Resolume servers at once - SMPTE/MTC column launch

If it’s an older Mac, you might need an HDCP stripper between Mac HDMI output and Intensity HDMI input.
