How to edit Polygon Slice shape without warping content?

Post by Dubrunner »

How do we change the shape of a Polygon Slice without warping the content?

After drawing a Polygon Slice moving any of points causes warping :(.

I understand that moving the Output Transformation would cause warping but no idea why the Input Selection stretches/warps? Having both do the same thing seems a bit redundant?

right click the slice, and use the match shape option on the other tab.
so if you adjusted the slice points in the input selection, then you'd switch to the output section, right click the slice and click match input shape.

If you don't want/need warping, It sounds like you might want to use a regular slice with an input mask instead of a Polygon slice.

You add points by double clicking anywhere on the outline and remove points by double clicking on the points.

You can use linear or bezier mode depending on your needs and invert the mask if needs be.
