Float Values

Hello!
I have recently downlaoded OSC Pilot, it is great fun and getting good results with it!
Unfortunately, I don't know how to actually write a float value : /.
How would I enter this, so that is has a float value entry of 0.05?
/composition/layers/1/video/effects/edge/opacity
