How do I sync audio with Arena?

So I’m a single man show and I’m looking for a way to sync my 30 minute set automatically to video clips in Resolume Arena 7. I already have every bit of my set prerecorded minus my live instruments which I play behind the prerecorded tracks.

Is this possible? I just want a certain set of videos to play automatically without me having to manually trigger them.

I’m currently using Logic Pro but can easily bounce my tracks to a standard wav if that’s what it takes.

I am new to Resolume but here are my ideas:

1. Import the audio file into Resolume and create your visual show in advance

You could include audio cues (perhaps a tone generator/peak) in the recording to quickly find the scene changes desired. Or even break up your audio clips into pieces and map to visuals, so they play together once done.

2. If YOUR timing is perfect, pre-plan the clip changes in advance

3. Press play on your recording, and manually record your visuals in advance.

You mentioned manually triggering is out - but OSC or small MIDI controller (even a foot pedal) could be used if you change your mind.

Let me know how you work it out!

Cheers,
JP

https://resolume.com/support/en/smpte could be a way to sync videos. You'd play a SMPTE track in Logic, routed to Resolume to sync clips, then use Midi shortcuts to trigger clips: https://resolume.com/support/en/midi-shortcuts
