Mapping with LED Processors

Post by jrr0083 »

Hi, I have a general amount of knowledge when it comes to LED walls and resolume. My question is my buddy's church wants to redo their LED wall configuration. The future setup will be a center piece with two totems flanking on each side with 2 other walls for IMAG. I was planning on putting the totems on the same processor as the IMAG walls so that both processors would have enough ports for redundacy backup. They are sending 2 outputs from resoume via a Quadro card to avoid video tearing. My concern is that with the totems being on a different processor that Resolume won't see it correctly. Thoughts?

Resolume sees what the processor gives to the computer. The LED wall layout is not something what is usually passed through.
You'll probably see something like a 1920x1080 or 4k display as the processor.

Give me your panel pixel count (wXh) and how many panels (wxh) you are doing for all slices and I can build you up a pixel map.
What processors do you have? Novastar?
