Preparing for a venue

Hello,

I recently went into a venue while they had no events going to test their setup.
I tried porting the composition from my computer onto the venue computer running resolume.
Every effect including simple transforms said "EFFECT NOT FOUND"

I noticed the venue computer running a different version than my own (Still resolume 7, just different version)

My question: Is there a way to build the composition on my own PC and then port it to the venue computer? I'm aware that the video files will need to be on the venue computer as well.

Would I need to downgrade to the same version that the venue is running?

Have you upgraded to 7.3 by any chance? The files aren’t particularly compatible with older versions.

Indeed, with v7, and the new big features coming almost every release, compositions made on the latest versions can't be epected to work on earlier versions.

Try updating the venue machine to the latest version instead downgrading your machine

I was hesitant to upgrade the venue machine without consulting the owner. I'll just be playing a single event.

And I am indeed on 7.3 - the venue was on 7.2.1

I'll contact the venue and ask if they are okay with upgrading
