License questions

Post by jaydeeshow »

1) I have Arena 6 authorizing 2 computers, if I upgrade to 7 will I still be able to do that, or do I need the 2 license deal for 300euros with the BF promo?
2) Will the Arena 7 (version) have any bugs that will force me to buy updates next year after the 1 year ?
3) Will the Arena keep working forever if needed without updates?
4) Will I need 2 dongles, or only if I need to work offline?

Best,

J

1) You will end up with a full functional Arena 6 and a Arena 7 new code

2) After 12 Month you can install all the Version till the last date of your license
It allways can be some bugs you may need to take the 7.x..1 instead of the latest 7.x..5 if there is something real bad.... Most bugs are fixed quite fast and I´m sure you will find a solution with the team.

3) The latest version wont stop working at any point.

4) for permanent offline you will need a dongle for each system, or you do a online "handshake" every 30 days...

Hi,

long time no talk.

I hope you're doing well.

So I think it's time to upgrade, I'm still not sure to 1 or 2 system.

If I upgrade to 1 system, will I still be able to run my 6 in case of emergency or maybe on a different server?

You will end up with 2 licenses... 1 time arena 6 and a new and fresh arena 7 with 12months of updates...

so in total you can run 4 systems with arena ;) 2 times 6 & 2 times 7

Either one, yes. I'd choose the cheaper one ;)

You keep your v6 license after the upgrade.
