move layers and clips from the Monitor window or composition window

Post by mrlupin »

It would be easier toi be able to move clips in WYSIWYG mode from the monitor window to create faster composition and tweak compositions more easily .
It could also be a another preview window mode called composition where we could have different highlight colours for the bounding rect between clips and layers .

from this view we could move elements with the mouse directly form the view and see the pivot and why not also change the pivot position , scale, rotate and save lots of time building sets.

be more immersed into the visual rather tweaking +/- position /scake button & sliders .

Most of what you're asking can be done in Advanced Output. There's also this nifty tool I use a lot as well: https://hybridvisuals.nl/stageflow/

All you mentioned are not wysiwig and once you open a separate window which is not on the main UI try en it’s useless . The advanced window cannot be docked on the main window
