What all do I need to projection map?

I'm having trouble finding information on the entry barriers for projection mapping. I have resolume arena, a ViewSonic PG700WU WUXGA DLP projector (on the way), and a computer. Am I missing something or will I be able to put on a projection mapping show with just the listed items above? Do I need a second software like MadMapper or Heavy-m?

If you have Arena, a projector, a computer, then the only thing missing to do projection mapping is something to project on.

Thanks Zoltan! I had previously read through these articles you provided, but admittedly, I'm very green so a lot of the terminology goes over my head. Would you be able to answer my question in laymen's terms? I apologize for my confusion but I'm having a difficult time finding the answer in words I understand.
