Which mobile VGA 2 buy?

Post by anarchist »

Hi!

I'm planning oin buying my first notebook and need suggestions on which VGA should I buy it with!?!

I want to buy a Pentium M.
Is Intel GMA 900 or 950 enough for Resolume, or should I gather more money and buy something better???

And if so, what should I buy?

Is this good enough?

Or this?

THX in advance for any suggestions! ;)

it's not recommended to go after built in chipset like intel since they are shered memory and for that resolum wont compremise!

i posted here few days ago if 64MB will do for resolum or should we insist on 128MB? lets hope someone will help us with this issue...

try at vjcentral forum i posted the same dilema and i got few answers...

Would GF 7300 do fine???

I found a Pentium M laptop, with this VGA. It's price is awesome, so I'm going to buy that.

I just need a few info on this card! ;)

check the archives
resolume doesn't use any hardware 3D so any modern video card will do

anything with its own memory - the advice above sounds reasonable

Has anyone actually tested a mobile with the intel gma 950 graphics chip set on resolume - what is the impact on the frame rate..
