Indeo R3.2 vs Indeo 4.5 Vs Ligos Indeo 5.2

Post by cal-tv »

When rendering in Sony Vegas 7 I am given the option to use either Intel Indeo R3.2,Intel indeo 4.5 or Ligos Indeo 5.2

Which Codec is the best for Resolume?

Thanks

Thanks, what bitrate are you rendering at?

I am rendering at 1500 kb/sec, but the file sizes are very high....

If I render at 100% quality eithout specifying a bitrate the sizes are Ok, but the quality isn't good enough

i used Indeo 5.1 320X240 25fps PAL, render with vegas 6 but wasnt satesfied with the results. finally found the best for sharp picture and best react with resolum - PICVIDEO M-JPEG by Pegasus. you can download a trial version. got it from a thread in this forum...
