clip legths

please can someone advise on sensible clip lenghts..
most of my clips are a few seconds long but i would like to incorporate 5 minute long sections...

also i am rendering at 640x480 using the PICVideo M-JPEG 3 codec... IS THIS A GOOD/OR THE BEST OPTION?

It,s no problem to use 5 minute clips. The picvideo mjpeg codec is the best for resolume, do make sure you set it up correctly though, the default settings are not the best.
