Bien y mal. Video output. rev 1110

Post by pinchapinzas »

Hey boys. Really nice job on fixing and cleaning the little bugs of version 990. But with version 1110 I have an output problem not seen in 990 making testing not possible.

Is that the output on the 2nd screen?

Probably you dubblechecked everyting yourself but...it looks an effect is applied on the clip, the layer or the composition... check it out.. maybe you overlooked something? That's easy, because the interface doesn't show all the properties all together. Lots of hidden tabs in there ;)

Here the output and the preview look normal...
desktop: Windows 7 home premium 64 bit, MSI 870A-G54, AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition, 4Gb RAM (GVP34GB1600C9DC), NVidia GTX 560
laptop: Windows 7 home premium 32 bit, Core2duo 2Ghz, 4Gb Ram, NVidia 9600m GT

Yes, preview is ok but second screen looks weird. Everything double checked, no effects whatsoever.
The first beta worked ok for me.

Please send us a video file along with your log file:
MAC: /Users/[username]/Library/Logs/Resolume Avenue 3 log.txt
PC: C:/Documents and Settings/[username]/Application Data/Resolume/Resolume Avenue 3 log.txt

Hopefully that will show us what is going wrong.

Di you guys setup the second display using the advanced setup or by using the menu (Output->Fullscreen->Display 2).

I set the second display using the menu (not the advanced options). Later, I installed the latest OMEGA drivers for my ATI Radeon card and the problem has been fixed. Hmmm. But now arises another problem...the frame rate has droped from apx. 32fps witout OMEGA to apx. 12 fps with the OMEGA drivers. I am wondering...there are lots of options with the OMEGA drivers with I do not really understand. Does anyone have an optimal configuration of the OMEGA drivers for resolume?

I tried both ways to set up secondary screen, same result.
Omega drivers worked really nice with my old computer but I`m not sure how they work with FireGl cards?
I`ll send you the log file, hope that helps.

Installing Omega drivers to Ati FireGL v5200 was not too good idea after all. Resolume didn`t even start after that, insufficient specs it claimed. I`m out of ideas so I guess it`s up to you now gentlemen.

At this point its getting really disturbing. Applying blur effect caused similar problem (blow effect and elevated picture) to preview monitor. After I had changed effect parameters randomly for a while, picture in preview monitor was almost normal. Then I changed to fullscreen and WHAT! The picture was almost normal there too. As you can guess I couldn`t reproduce this after restart but maybe it helps you to spot the actual problem.
