Hi there,
Is there a buglist of known problems with Avenue?
I've been testing Avenue (without registering) and ran in to some problems.
- Images should be exactly the same size as the output resolution. Avenue does not resize nor has the option to.
- loading images and videos is a lot of work.
- browsing through directories with a lot of images is very slow.
- no flash support
There is no timeline or roadmap anywhere on the site/forum about Avenue. Just some messages about the new beta beeing release.
Regards,

Memory 2 GB 667 Mhz DDR2 RAM

Re: Buglist and roadmap
What do you mean by this exactly?- loading images and videos is not a lot of work.

That was a typo. After rewriting the line I forgot to remove "not".bart wrote:What do you mean by this exactly?- loading images and videos is not a lot of work.
I've been loading images to the decks and found my self in dragging one images at a time from the File Browser to the decks. With thumbnails enabled this is a very slow and tedious operation.
Just found out that it possible to drag from Finder to the decks

After dropping the image onto the deck I have to "Resize to Composition size" for each image.
What if I change the output resolution will it resize?

Actualy that was one of my questions. Is there a "published" todo list?VJair wrote:

on the PC ( dont know if it works on the mac ) shift click selects multiple files to drop in to the composition ( standard computer shortcut

No it won't, the whole idea of Avenue is that you can position and move your clips around the canvas, it gives you much more flexibility but it takes longer to set things up i agree.Arko wrote: After dropping the image onto the deck I have to "Resize to Composition size" for each image.

But i can imagine that you set the composition settings to the resolution that most of your clips are and only resize the clips that don't fit directly.
Re: Buglist and roadmap
On a Mac its the same, images are placed on the deck each in a new column. If more pictures are selected than there are columns more columns will automaticly be added. (After adding 161 images at once Avenue crashed).VJair wrote:Arko wrote:
