I have couple of technical questions about Resolume Avenue. Where can I post them?
I mean I see:
Problems? Bugs? Solutions! (Version 2.41)
But I don't see similar thread for Resolume 3
Tech question
Re: Tech question
In Resolume 2 there was a way to write couple of words on the screen like Happy Birthday, etc..
Is there a way to do it in Resolume 3 ?
Also, I am trying to use my Canon HV30 camcorder as a source. I connect it to my MacBook Pro through Firewire. But it does not come out under sources in Resolume. When I launch Final Cut, it recognizes the camcorder right away. How come Resolume doesn't recognize it?

Re: Tech question
You can post any questions refrerring to version 3 in the 'Resolume Avenue 3 Feedback' category.
That was because of the Flash support. You probably loaded some flash files which Resolume 2.x could send text to. This will be implemented in version 3 but we are still working on the flash implementation.alexpush wrote:In Resolume 2 there was a way to write couple of words on the screen like Happy Birthday, etc..
Avenue does not seem to recognize all camera's connected to the system in OSX. We are looking into getting better support for live input.alexpush wrote:Also, I am trying to use my Canon HV30 camcorder as a source. I connect it to my MacBook Pro through Firewire. Re: Tech question
You can create an image file (i use photoshop to make a .png or .jpg) of a word or phrase (black on white or white on black) at the size of the composition and import it into resolume. Then you can apply effects to it and use it in your composition.alexpush wrote:In Resolume 2 there was a way to write couple of words on the screen like Happy Birthday, etc..
