Certain Composition Midi Mappings disappearing?

Hi gang,

Here's my rig: Resolume Avenue 4.0.1, Mac Powerbook (early 2009)

I'm having an issue where Avenue won't save all my Composition Midi Mappings. Specifically, it will retain midi note mappings applied to clips, but any midi note mappings I apply to the "AV" slider are not present after I save my composition, reboot Resolume, and load the composition.

Here's a quick test I did to confirm. Could someone please try this and see if it works for them?

-Create a composition
-Drop in a video clip
-Choose: Mapping-> Edit Composition Midi Map
-Map your clip to a midi note.
-Also map the "AV" slider to a midi note.

-Trigger your midi keys...you'll see the AV slider hop up and down.

-Save, Quit, and Reopen.
-Choose: Mapping-> Edit Composition Midi Map
-Is your AV midi key still mapped? Can you still trigger the AV slider?

Just re-confirmed this issue after quitting, moving my preferences & comps folders, and starting clean.

One thing I did discover is that the AV slider midi map will be retained if you apply it via "Edit APPLICATION midi map" instead of the composition midi map.

Unfortunately, this isn't a great work-around solution, because any time you change the ordering of your layers, the mapping starts to get scrambled.

So, is this by design, or a bug?

This is a bug that is fixed in the 4.1 release.
