Hotkeys on effects.

Hy, the guys at VJforum directed me here, my problem is that i cant set hotkeys in Resolume 4.0.0 on effects. I dragged the effect on both the composition and the layer panel, but when i turn on "Edit Application Key/Midi Map", the program doesnt highlight the effect therefor not allowing me to set a hotkey on it. Have help?

Hmmm. This is working fine for me in 4.1. Can you download the latest version and post a screenshot if it is still happening?

Having read your thread on VJForums, you're probably looking for the 'B' button, which allows you turn the effect on and off. This button is midi and key mappable.

Great name! (My favorite amon tobin song on ISAM) I knew about the B button, but with that u can only toggle the effect on and off, what you have taken into the Layer or Composition panel before. What im looking for is how to make this taking process with the push of a key. In Resolume 2.3 you only had to choose the effect in the list, double click on it, and tipe a letter into the appearing window. Ill post a screen shot tomorrow, and sorry for the bad english:/

No need for the screenshot, I know which feature you're talking about but it was removed in Res 3 and 4. The 'b' button is the way to go now.
