Problem Switching Clip Target Modes

Post by tanya »

Hey hey, hope everyone is well :)

I am having some trouble switching my clip target modes from own layer to active layer during a set. I have about 10 decks in my live set and some of the decks I want to use in the "own layer" mode (so that I can blend different clips), while others in the "active layer" mode. I'm often finding that I cannot switch easily from one mode to the other... the top layer tends to take over and not let me show any clips in any other layer. I have to close each of the layers (by pressing the X), often two or more times, to reset the clip target mode. This happens most often when I switch from own to active.

Any ideas? Solutions? Similar issues?

Many thanks!

I have exact the same problem. would be great if it could be switched by a midi cc. let's say: a clipmode per deck.

Each clip can have its own trigger mode, which overrides the global mode. You can also select multiple clips (CTRL-A for the whole deck) to change the trigger mode on a per deck basis.

Hope that helps.
