Layer Router and Alpha

Scenario

LED 1728x480



Layer 1-6 general video/logo/effect mixing

Layer 7-9 Used as direct routing to slices for large LED above, slight transition to fade between clips on layers, Cam 1, Cam2, Cam3, Layer Router, Custom Flash Message Text, layer opacity at 0

LED has 3 slices, from top to bottom, full screen, stage left half, stage right half, ignore layer opacity

Full Screen slice takes Layer 9 as input, Stage Left takes Layer 8, Stage Right takes layer 7

Layer 7 always has a camera loaded, Layer 8 has Layer Router with composition, Layer 9 same as 8

Full screen always cover up the split screen until I unload layer 9, which is great.

What happens is if I load Flash Text with alpha or even a png with alpha onto Layer 9, the background turns black - it doesn't appear over the split screen.

I will try and take some screen shots and pictures next time I'm there


EDIT: I just tested this on my laptop with no real output and it works fine. Maybe has some to do with my other computer...

I'm sorry, I tried to follow your setup a few times, but I always wind up getting lost. Is there any way you can narrow it down to where the problem is? Otherwise some screenshots would help a lot!
