Virus in new plug-ins???

Post by paull »

When loading the latest version of Resolume 4.1.9 onto my performance PC the AVG started to produce virus alerts. See attached image, I removed the files being shown as infected, but that meant I was not able to use the new video FX.

I tried loading onto my laptop, which had Windows Ant-Virus as opposed to AVG and it all worked fine.

What do you suggest I do as a solution to getting these great FX onto my AVG protected machine??

Thanks

Thanks for your report, Pauli. We're looking into it, but we're going to need a little more time to figure out the actual cause.

Well, we checked the new version with a few anti-virus apps, as well as submitted the .dll files directly to a few online virus scanners, and they all came up clean.

Even AVG turns up clean...

Maybe you can simply tell AVG to trust these files?
