Hi all.
I just want to know the connection set up for controlling moving lights with resolume arena 5. I am aware of the different hardware like entekk ode. I tried to view on youtube but what was shown wasn't to details of how to do the actual connections but only the software configuration on Arena.
Please also advise me if I should consider buying the MA2 onPC hardware for controlling the moving lights or not because I saw a clip on youtube where the MA2 device is used to control the moving lights using the projected images from resolume. Is MA2 necessary or not ?
I am based in south africa and it is hard to source information because the audio visual setups in events or clubs is very limitted and I want to introduce this technology at our club scenes and events. Oh, please also advice the type of projectors recommended for controlling visuals at events and clubs. Please please please..
Thank you all for reading my topic.

If you are on a mac you can use Quartz Composer and Kineme ArtNet Plugin to programme your movements and run that as a clip within Resolume.

Re: Controlling moving lights with Resolume
Its probably going to be a lot easier and more efficient to control resolume and the lights from a lighting controller. MA is awesome but there are other options such as MartinMPC, Chamsys, etc that can also do the job. Each have their strength and weaknesses
