Can I do this?

Post by djtommye »

I have a licensed Avenue, on a MacBook, and I'm working on an upcoming corporate event.

I'm wondering if this is possible with Avenue:
I'm running two projectors with a Matrox TripleHead2Go, and was thinking of doing 1280x720 on each for a total of 2560x720.

I'm doing projection on two short walls. Since Avenue doesn't do any masking, I guess I'll have to physically mask the projection. Overall, I'd say the image would need to be 1280x 300 or so, to fit on the space.

I'd like one layer to show on projector 1, another on projector 2 (these will be displaying some logos with effects), and the 3rd layer with some VJ loops.

Is this possible? Any tips would be great.

Thank you in advance!

Seriously? No one has any input on this...

with Avenue - can I use a TripleHead2Go with two projectors, assign one layer to projector 1, another to projector 2, and use the 3rd for a motion background?

My event is Friday - so any help or tips would be GREATLY appreciated.

Yes

Either use the crop effect to mask top and bottom of your composition or reduce the vertical height of your comp to 300 and adjust your slices' input mapping in the advanced output accordingly.
