We have a BMC UltraStudio 4K thunderbolt device and I was testing out the native output features new in Res5. Looks pretty sweet, but I was unable to output via both SDI outputs on the device. Does Res5 only support outputting one SDI signal? I was hoping to pick up BMD's UltraStudio 4K extreme and get 4 SDI outputs to give me 2 outputs with an alpha channel.
Any ideas? Is this a limitation of the software, or am I missing something? We currently use this same card with ProPresenter6 to output our lyrics with an alpha channel and it works great.

BMD Ultra Studio 4K 2 Outputs
Re: BMD Ultra Studio 4K 2 Outputs
As long as you're not using them for input, Resolume should be able to access each channel for output.
If that's not the case for you, could you please contact us directly at mail@resolume.com?

Re: BMD Ultra Studio 4K 2 Outputs
Hello,
I am currently testing with the Ultra Studio 4k too. I only have one output that shows up under the advanced output settings even though there should be at least two SDI options. Even more if you count HDMI.
Currently I do not need more than 1 output but very shortly I could see the need for 2 outputs.
Thanks!
Rich

Answer might be a little late for the one posing the question, it might be of use for others though.
We contacted Blackmagic about this issue.
The reason why you can't use the 2nd SDI output, is because this isn't possible from the hardware side of things. The hardware of the UltraStudio doesn't allow to stream more than one output at a time.
If you're looking for multiple SDI outputs, you can use a DeckLink Duo or Quad or multiple UltraStudio Mini-Monitor boxes.
