He Ho!
Resolume Arena 5.1.4 worked perfectly for a while, but since today I have a black output. I can see the video playing in the preview and in the advanced output on my mapping, but the output remains black, no matter if it's an external screen, a windowed Screen or even DMX via artnet. (Even the output monitor is black)
I read that there can be problems with resolume using two different graphic cards on my laptop, so I changed the settings for the NVIDIA Card, so that Resolume uses only the NVIDIA, but that didn't solve the problem. I tried the BIOS, but there are no options to change any video card settings there.
I need Resolume to work on saturday, urgent help is appreciated.
System: Windows 10, NVIDIA Geforce GTX 950M, Intel HD Graphics 520.

Re: Black Output
Sounds like you might be encountering a nasty Optimus bug that's been going around.
Joris explains here: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=13529&p=58042&hili ... mus#p57494
Apparently new build of Windows fixes it: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=13529&hilit=joris+ ... =30#p59684
(but breaks something else)
Two workarounds if you don't have time to update windows:
1. Set your output screen to be the Desktop, then drag the resolume UI back to your laptop display.
2. Open your output full screen windowed on the main display and drag it over to the output display
Cheers

Re: Black Output
Edit: Read to fast - doesn't seem a optimus problem either. Basicly what joris said below me.

Re: Black Output
windowed Screen
DMX via artnet
Optimus doesn't affect windowed output, doesn't affect DMX, nor the output monitor. I'm with Ravensc on this one. OP somehow did something that turns his master output black.Even the output monitor is black
Re: Black Output
How are you triggering things via dmx? Is it via a ma2 by chance?
