I will start by describing what i want to do, and then the limitations.
I got to Screens, one with multiple slices and the other as only one slice.
I decided to group the layers correspondent to screen with multiple slices, lets call this group 'GroupMix'
and then I have an independent layer ( not part of the group) above that group.
My intentions is to map akai mk2 to trigger a colorize effect with the same keys for both objects ( the group and the layer).
First thing I tried was to make a layer above the inpedent one , so the overral Hierarchy was:
Layer 1 - FX Layer ( Containing a video router to affect layers above) with a colorize effect
Layer 2 - Independent Layer
GroupoMix - ( containing multiple layers)
However when i do the colorize effect, it only affects the independent layer and not the group, the group has no reaction to it. Is it a bug? Is it on Purpose?

---
My second option was to add the same scheme, but one fx layer with colorize inside the group and other outside.
And it works , but then I realized other thing that I didn't know. Suppose I map a knob for opacity on the colorize effect. There are two separated layers(one inside other outside the group) with colorize ( each one ) but I map the opacity for the same knob,. It works, but let's suppose im previewing a layer inside my group, if I turn on the knob, it only affects de group because I'm previewing a layer part of it, So If I want to apply it to the other layer, I have to preview it at least also. Is it also suppose to?

This maybe an important note to add, my slices don't have composition as source.
I have a slice for the group itself, and then have a slice for the independent layer, so i must use the colorize effect on both, at the same time....

Thank you,
