Here is my approach to be able to "work" with 16 youtube live streams simultaneously in Resolume. Each stream is played in an instance of vlc, which provides an NDI source for Resolume. Very hungry. I would love to play many more streams at the same time.
It must be possible to do without all the NDI streams and save resources, right ?
i have sad looking 12 fps :/
all 16 vlc player have 30% CPU load. I guess decoding NDI is more expensive than encoding? Or is encoding only happening if some client is decoding ?
Have a great day !

Try lowering the NDI resolution.
