Confirm Decklink 8K Pro multiple display support

Post by Full Spectrum »

Hi all,

Can anyone confirm that Resolume supports the Decklink 8k Pro?

In my past experience (maybe a previous version of Resolume), it would support a single output at 4k, but it wouldn't let me access all four independent 12g outputs. Can anyone confirm that the latest build does support this?

Thank you!

I think you need a firmware update for this, and enable the separate input support in Desktop video.
They then should appear separately in Resolume too.
Or use this tool to switch them.

If that doesn't work for some reason, 4x synced inputs would make up 1x8k texture, which you can then scale and crop in Resolume, to the input you'd like.

Great, thank you!

Seems like the 8k pro is my card of choice for now then.

Until Aja deals with their massive backorder on the Kona 5 next year...
