Smpte LTC vídeo not sync

Post by Dboy »

Dear "Resolumers",

I'm writing this message in real desperation because I've tried almost everything and I have no solution, having a gig on Saturday.
I have an edited project for 25 tracks, each with its own timecode and which are properly exported, all with the same parameters. it turns out that when testing the timecode between my tower and my laptop, the video runs perfectly without any kind of latency, using reaper as a player and each computer has a scalert connected together, I don't have any problems.
In rehearsal with the band receiving the signal through their system that are using abelton, the videos do not sync perfectly.

Any suggestion?

thanks

Have the band set the Warping to Re-pitch on the SMPTE track.
Properly exported means the videos are DXV?

Does the Video isnt in sync on your System or what you see in the venue is not in sync?

it may be just a delay inside the playout path?

Everything it's perfectly sync until I start to use the Band setup !
If I play this LTC between my PC and my laptop there is no problem, once I connect to the band setup using Abelton I get this delay, like the video is playing ahead of the song.

Yes, but I will double check with the sound engineer.

Yes all videos are exported with alley, 25 FPS, same sample rate 44100

If they change the tempo in Ableton, without Warping, the SMPTE won't follow properly.
Maybe that's the issue then. You'd see it like the start being in sync, and then the video drifting apart slowly.

If warping is enabled, it should be re-pitch.

Thank you! I will ask to change that spec, and once I tested out I give you feedback.
