APC Mini MK2 help

Post by rawdesigns »

I just got an Akai APC Mini MK2. I was wondering if there was a guide for coloring the buttons or software/drivers im missing? This model has full RGB but when I edit midi in Resolume I dont get the thumbnail of the color and color names like the APC 40 MK2 does.

Resolume doesn't have the APC mini color codes integrated.
Check the APC mini protocol guide, it has the colors listed.

What would it take to open this up so we can create our own xml presets to share? I inquired about this a few years ago but never heard back. I'd be happy to make a bunch of profiles for you guys if you open it up so we can :)

I have looked through this table and can't make sense of it in relation to Resolume. I've changed all the dropdown settings to everything I can think of when in midi mapping mode. Can't get any pads to light up at all, much less change the colors. I'm on 7.3 sill.

I'm in the same boat. I've seen a few people mention you can pick different numbers from the velocity drop-down but that does nothing for me. I've tried setting it, saving, unplugging, and rebooting Resolume...

How do you have your shortcuts set up?

Me personally I was using Middle C = C3 in the Midi settings.

And then just the standard shortcuts selected in MIDI (e.g. button for clip activation). I tried a few of the velocity options to see if I could get the colour to change on those buttons without any luck.
