Magewell Pro Convert for NDI to HDMI Problem with crossfade

Post by Holm »

Hello,

I bought a magewell ndi to hdmi converter to simplify my workflow, no extra computer, just a converter, simple.
But the fades from column to column look awful. I have tried a few settings, but no improvement.
Does anyone have experience with these devices and can give me a tip on which settings I need to change to achieve a better result?

thank you in advance

They might have issues with the alpha channel.
Try checking the black BG option for your slices in the advanced output - output transformation.
Software developer, Sound Engineer,
Control Your show with ”Enter” - multiple Resolume servers at once - SMPTE/MTC column launch

BG did not help, but the new resolume version did.
Unfortunately, I can't update at the moment.
But I have found a workaround.
I output the image to a local monitor and record it with NDI Screencapture.
This way the Magewell understands.
