Avenue vs Arena

Post by mpopa92 »

Hello,

I have a small misunderstanding about the version. We're a small band which bought a LED screen and we wanna bring the DJs output from recordbox video via HDMI into Resolume. We were thinking to add it via a capture card then output it to the LED screen via HDMI as well.

Are capture device inputs supported by Avenue or Arena?

If your led screen han be handled as one display and you don't need to do complex panle mapping Avenue could be enough.
If it turns out, You'd really need Arena, you can upgrade for the price difference.

I don't think advanced pixel mapping is for us as we will run one single LED screen of 3x2m.

I was thinking that Avenue is enough for us, but I was not sure if the capture card input then output onto the LED screen via resolume is possible in Avenue.

Capture input should work.
Capture card outputs are only available in Arena, but I guess the led processor should support displayport or HDMI.
