Mapping to non-rectangular led matrix

Post by XLap »

Hello,

I'm working on a project that include LED mapping onto many trapezoid screen that were custom made in-house.

I've been looking online for a couple of days and I can't find refference to anyone doing something similar.

My LED matrix is in the shape of triangle and is seperated into many trapezoid segment that I need to be able to control independently.

Is there a smart way to go about that? As of right now I've been doing the manual calculation to get the approriate x offset for each row, but I have 30 0000 pixel to map so that's going to take a while :?

Dulipcating fixtures using alt+ drag in the Advanced output will place the duplicates with an offset.
Then you duplicate using Command+ D, and they will get moved with the same offset.
