I need the demo comp and footage!

Post by mowgli »

I'm giving a VJ workshop for kids soon and I was hoping to use the demo composition and footage that comes with Resolume but I can't access it!!
I've downloaded Avenue with footage as I already have Arena installed, but I don't get the footage and comp. I think it's because I already have the folders for Arena (Compositions, Presets) on my computer, as Avenue starts up with one of my existing Arena comps.

How can I get the demo comp and footage without having to completely delete Arena from my machine?

The only comp that I'm finding there is called "Example" but it only has sources, no video clips.
Is there not a different one using the clips found in the media folder?
I remember an av demo composition many moons ago, is that not there any more?

I just found a comp also named Example in the Avenue Folder which does have tabs with footage shop, AV, Generators and Wire (which is what I was looking for) but the footage there does not match the footage in the Arena folder...
My students will be using the latest version of Arena so I need the exact same comp that comes with it!

Try renaming your Resolume Arena folder in your Documents folder to Resolume Arena.old and then re-open Arena. That should get you back to factory settings, then just save that comp as something and copy it over to your .old folder, then delete the new folder and remove the .old from the old folder and open the newly saved comp
