Hello
I have since 2-3 years been mailing with the resolume support, trying to explain to them why MTC is much needed, or an update timecode input section were the user have more options, LTC, MTC, artnet Timecode etc etc..
It all came down to them saying it should be a poll here on the forum if more users wants the timecode section to be updated. so here it goes...
MTC, LTC, Artnet TC etc etc
Re: MTC, LTC, Artnet TC etc etc
Bumping this for more input.

Additionaly it would be good to be able to send timecode via OSC - without having to change all clips from e.g. SMPTE to something else and back afterwards.
This would help massively to be able to develop/bugfix a setup.

I want it all, sometimes LTC is not the best option for connectivity, so having options would be great. It would remove an extra piece of hardware from my rigs I wouldn’t need an audio interface just to get LTC in

In 2025 we need digital TC, not only analog TC. Digital TC (Midi, Artnet, OSC...) is almost delay free, and in most cases you could have problems when pass LTC thru mixing desk or DAW mutes LTC track.
In my workflow all software syncs with MTC/ArtnetTC EXCEPT Resolume, which needs a soundcard or/and virtual audio cable, which has latency.

we mostly use artnet tc because it is network based and needs no aďditional hardware. thx

+1 for Art-Net TC. MTC would be a nice addition too, though I personally rarely use that.
