without distorting the internal image, you're correct, using what I posted above you can do it fairly well with square/rectangle objects
even with making a png mask of the internal image I want, I can't get resolume to key a clip into it properly
needs to be a layer output mask option!

thanks for all the pointers guys, ill post a video on Monday from a show i will be doing this weekend implementing these practices!

Can you walk through a bit more on how to overlap videos with a background a bit more in detail. I'm new to this vjing thing.
