There is no monitor option for any camera inputs. It is only visible in main output when mixed in. What I do is aplit the camera signal and send them into portable dvd players and car mount lcd screens. This way i can see the cameras before mixing them in.

you can preview things before they go out onto the screen, in the screen set up click advanced, and change the output on the interface screen to preview matrix

I recent got a residency VJ position in a Club in XiaMen China. The club outfitted the whole club with 3 CCTV cameras and I have set up 3 tv input cards with each a different Chipset and drivers and all is working well. I tried one of those 4 input security camera cards and it didn't work probably because the chipset was the same for all four inputs. I tried the USB one too because my PCI cards weren't enough to have 4 video inputs and my soundblaster card. I'll eventually get a USB sound input and put another input card in the free PCI slot. I'll check this post for updates because it would be great to have 4 different inputs and not have to fill up all the PCI card slots.

I have a spectra8 4 channel card based on BT chip.
Resolume I seem to remember got 2 inputs running, but to be honest the quality wasnt great, I've yet find a good quality livein for res! They all look a bit lofi
