Resolume 2.0 still crashes on exit. Will try to send you guys a screenshot of crashsscreen. But I believe it is just an MS error report screen.

ive recently just got an old digital projector, and tried hooking it up through resolume. but when i change the settings in resolume 2 to:

display 1: interface with preview
display 2: fullscreen
and click apply it crashes and i have to kill the program with ctrl+ alt+ del. i have tried this in resolume 2.0 beta 1 beta 2 and the final versions all have the same prob

hell even opening up the screen settings and clicking apply crashes it.

guess i should try with a clean install

i downloaded the new nvidia drivers, and it now works fine.
seems the 66.73 drivers were the problem but 66.93 work fine

im having a prob with the deck files,
when i load more then ten or so i cant load any more

i drag the deck file across to load it but all it dose is change the name of what deck is loaded but dosent change the clips and if i clear the deck it only puts the name and no clips.

Our basic specs for our Resolume computer, FYI:

P4 3GHz ITC lappie with Radeon 9600 ATI, 1 Gig RAM running XP.

Some additional bugs:

- Deck Save as command gave me white previews in deck. (Not all the time)
- Had some problems with freeframe plugs when changing parameters with RMB on layer. Forgot values.
- Active channel fx parameters midi bug is getting annoying.
- Got some slowdown after 8 hours of use
- Please remove the white outline from the selection of background colors! (Had a big fight with it again, with all that champagne

after testing the final version at the last new year eves day i have found few bugs:

-i had two times the situation when resolume sees only one drive without any folders or just the last used drive with all folders..i had to restart it again.

-some parts of previews (mostly the first one in the folder) of clips are blending with the output..i dont know how it is happening but resolume are keying out parts of previews.the same is happening to the black parts of windows when i minimize the resolume...but i can live with it anyway.

-i still have the same bug since 2.0 beta version. when im scrolling through the effect list and when i come to freeframe folder its not showing the whole list of effects,it stops somewhere in the middle and the rest of the effects even the other folders which are after freeframe are not visible,i had to close freeframe folder and reopen it to have the whole list..

- the other one is with midi mapping.im using evollution x session and sometimes resolumes is mixing the number of knobs..i have 3 sets of 16 knobs and sometimes it swaps one or more knobs numbers from different sets...in beta versions i had the same problem but with different knobs..

Well, i don't think it *is* a hardware problem, since this happens with all radeon drivers i've tested so far too!

the sliders dont actualy tell you the value of the freeframe variable, they say the percentage.

like for example, with the kalidascope plugin, to get a division of 5, you have to set it to 7 resolume.

another idea i had was: for plugins that have boolean values, or afew values, like 5 or 6 (like effects strips) could resolume sorta lock to those positions ie. divide the bar by how ever many values there are, and only let the block be on those positions?

Shouldn't Resolume save the screen settings? It's a bit annoying to configure them everytime I run it, and want to have it with fullscreen 1024x768 rez on the second desktop.
Dont know if that is a bug or a future request... that depends on what was intended by the developers.

Oh, yes, and that thing of the sliders that stop dragging with no apparent reason also happens to me.

Anyway, very nice work. I'm finishing my demo now and will buy it for sure. Go go Resolume!

Adding the vvffpp plugins I noticed another bug with scrolling in the effects, not all are shown until you minimize one category and opening it up again. After doing that scrolling works fine, otherwise bottom can't be reached.
