It seems, that we have same laptops
@Huddc, which version of MacOS do you have?
There is no problems on windows, even with integrated GPU's.

@Elgarf
It's just strange to me that I have used Arena 4 so successfully with NO issues. It is literally ONLY with Arena 5.
OS X El Captian
Version 10.11.13
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013
Processor 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel Iris 1536 MB

I think that's ok, because resolume team has rewritten advanced output in R5. But that's not videocard issue, I think. I've never saw this behavior on win.
I'm on OS X Yosemite 10.10.5, as you know, the same problem.

Have you had a chance to test with the same comp in both R4 and R5?
Also, as a note, your laptop:
MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013
Processor 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics Intel Iris 1536 MB
is really an entry level system for this type of application and won't be able to run anything remotely complex without crashing!

Btw, I tried to reproduce it on Core M/Intel 520 or i7/HD 4400 with no luck.

But these are window machines, correct?

Yes. But I think win and mac must give same user experience. So, if I can create mask on win, then I can create mask on mac the same way, can't I?

I agree about the laptop, but have never had any issues in the past. I am on the road at the moment and have not had an opportunity to download the new update and test the same comp on R4 and R5. I have though, tried the same comp on this version.

Finished updating last night and tried 5.0.2. Still crashes trying utilize advanced output and drawn mask. First, the mask locks and you can move the points, but the actual mask stops moving. Second, Arena just crashes completely. Arena 4 still working perfectly :/

I'm very happy that you were able to run Arena 4's Advanced Output without problems. Theoretically, that should not have been possible.
Arena 5 has a completely new Advanced Output compared to Arena 4. Everything is rewritten to take even more advantage of a modern dedicated GPU. So having a good GPU is a minimum system requirement
I'm very sorry, but your computer is just not good enough to run the current version of Resolume. We can make it stop crashing, but that's probably going to mean you won't be able to access the Advanced Output at all anymore.
