If this happens, you can open the Installer.app directly and select the package in the file dialog.

you can find the crash log in /Users/YourUser/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports
and also please upload your Documents/Resolume Arena 6 folder if it got created.
You will only be able to attach these in a Zip file.

I have the same problem and found that it is user related. When you create a fresh user and login as that user and start Resolume 6 it will startup OK. So it must be a preference related problem... But which pref do I have to delete?

Please try again with Beta2, thanks!

2011 MacBook Pro
I was able to replicate this issue; Area 6 hasn’t worked since the release of Beta 1. I removed all previous files and verified disc permissions, fresh download/install, opened Arena 6 Beta 2, Problem Report opens instantly and crashes.

Logged out of my account, opened guest account, started Area 6 works as expected.

Similar problem here, 2013 MacBook. I hear a loud click from the speakers and Resolume quits before the splash screen. No error report comes up. Attached is the log file. Hope it helps.

This one is specific to Avenue, should be fixed in beta3.

Does this still happen with the release version?

Hello,

I am experiencing the same issue but with the Avenue 6 software. I have tried to download and restart my mac multiple times, but each time I try open the Avenue 6 it crashes and I get the dialog attached. I've looked into my security settings for third-party app permissions, launched installer manually, redownloaded, restarted but this has not worked.

I have also attached my mac specifications and crash log.

Please let me know how I can get it to open up.

Thanks!
Cynthia
