Yesterday night same thing happened like 7+ times , new comp but i copied some FX stacks from another comp over.
I just can't find logic in it , i was thinking first it was the ace clips too , especially weary about ace cellular as it can go billy bonka it seems, but often a fx stack creating the issue does not have a ace clip in it.
I've come to the point where i will delete me pre made stacks & start over , and try to organise them better from the start to be able to track possible issues better :s
About the mask png file , can't send the original that one is gone , but one of yesterday which showed the exact same thumbnail issue in a new comp. Am i maybe saving my png wrong ?
thank you already for your efforts btw , i appreciate the support really

The glitch is back :/
I started a new 'master comp' with all new fx's stacks to make sure this thing wouldn't happen , but at some point the same glitch came up again.
First time it was in the deck with only new stuff , but i didn't see it start so wasn't sure which fx triggered it.
Later i imported another deck from another comp , and there it flipped again.
Made a video this time , it's a ace cellular fx clip which flipped , even i have been using that FX over 50 times with so many different settings in this comp , one of them is a flipper.
Again , everything runs fine most of the time , and it's hard to recreate the issue but it will pop up for sure on very certain clips.
I'm pretty sure it's somewhere in the Ace Cellular plugin , which i know is not native resolume's , but it's one of my key psychedelic fx's i really really can't live without it.
I'm not sure if it's a certain setting in Ace Cellular's pararmeters which makes the entire comp glitch ..
Any chance you can look into the fx and see if something is wrong ? I'm also sending a mail to the developer with a link to this thread.
Deck : Deco FX - Layer 13 - column 12
Added foto of ace celullar settings of the clip when it flipped , and the comp .

thank you !

Try contacting the makers of the plugin about this.
As the glitch only happens with the plugin applied, I don't think there is much we can do about this.
They can also contact us directly if they think it's an issue with Resolulme, to work it out.

I just did , linked also the video to him aswell. But surely there a resolume code wizard who could also pop open the hood of this effect and see if there is something noticably missing.
All the Ace effects were fine in resolume 5 , i guess something maybe went missing making them into x64

Looking into the code of compiled third party binaries is not as easy as it might sound

Let's see what the Ace Cellular devs say.

Great news , the dev was quick to answer and send me a new updated version of the ace pack plugin.
Ive been testing it last 5 hours in all different fx clips , nothing goes jittery anymore ! Hurray !
As some base settings have been changed in the ace pack fx's , and some new parameters have been added , i do have to remake all my presets but well worth it

So after the update of the ace plugin pack , the issue came back.
I was able to pinpoint it this time and im 99% sure its the Ace Trails effect , since i kicked that one the extra effects folder , it hasn't happened anymore (been testing all day) .
