I cant believe this crash is happening so drastically in Version 7.0.5 rev 67117 28 Nov 2019.
Just dragging the blackmagic Source item onto an empty trigger slot creates a very drastic crash condition within milliseconds.
I sent in a comprehensive crash report which was easy to do because of the automation process. (thumbs Up)
My dedicated system is within spec according to the Resolume spec page. I have the most current Blackmagic drivers installed in Windows 7 (SP1) And the Ultrastudio Mini Recorder works fine in other software including Resolume 5.
I live in Melbourne Australia and the Blackmagic Design offices are around the corner so I checked my facts first with their engineers -> In reply to weather the condition only exists for this product: they said all Ultrastudio products use the same chipset and driver so this is not an isolated issue.
The marketing on the front page of Resolume say Blackmagic support. I needed the 64 bit version working with Blackmagic Ultrastudio for a gig on 27 DEC-31 DEC. This issue is definitely not what I expected for the $$ I spent on the software.
Given this issue has been raised since before the release of Version 7 and the severity of the crash I find it hard to believe that its not noted anywhere. Hopefully I am emailed by the developers with a fix soon otherwise it will be back to Version 5 for the gig and a refund may be in order.
