You can allready do this! you will have to set up the midi controls to one midi CC to all the layers. easy. works great with the Beringer BCF2000 buttons, or just your standard qwerty keyboard

Hi,
I'm new to Resolume and wooow it rules !! Really cool in live session !!!
I'd like to know if it's possible to play or preview video directly from the main interface / channel. I mean i'd like to preview video, test effects applyed, set video speed... before send it to one of the 3 layers.
Thank you for your reply and thank you for that great VJ software !!

in the screen settings, click the advance button, then you can change change the preview to a matrix view, which has each layer sperate.

You can preview the footage. see FIG.1
You can preview the effect change, but not in realtime playback.
the only way you can view the results in realtime with applied effects is to have some footage on the top layer with opacity at 100%. Then add your footage to a lower layer also at 100%, and view the results via the matrix

Never actually used the matrix, but can you switch without the output reinitialsing, if it is possible shortcuts to the matrix views would be good, so you can switch between layer previews, prefrably prefade and post switchable.
To the add to the wish list artnet in, and pixel mapped artnet out would also be top! Seeing as youve done flash to dmx I presume this is possible?
